DT Systems manufactures products designed and built to last, and we stand behind our workmanship.  All DT electronic collars and launchers come with a full one year warranty from the date of purchase (with receipt proof of purchase information to be provided by the customer).  This warranty covers any manufacturer’s defects not caused by misuse, abuse, or normal wear and tear.  Simply send in your defective unit and DT Systems will repair or replace it at no charge (please see below for further details).  Units purchased directly from DT Systems also come with a 30 day (from the date of purchase) money back guarantee.  Please note that purchasing units secondhand or through auction sites voids the warranty.  

What is covered:
• DT Systems One Year Warranty covers all parts to be free from manufacturing defects for as long as the unit is held by the original owner (purchases from auction sites or purchases of used units void this warranty).
• Labor on all repairs will be covered.
• Return ground shipping (inside the continental United States) to the customer is covered.

What is not covered:
• Lost parts or parts that malfunction due to misuse, abuse, improper maintenance, or incorrect handling are not covered.  DT Systems has the right to determine what is and is not a warranty issue.
• Damage from dogs chewing or wear and tear from excessive field use is not covered.
• Our warranty does not cover the cost of shipping the unit to our repair center.  Expedited or special return shipping is not covered, but available by request for an extra shipping fee.  International shipping charges are not covered.

In addition to the one year warranty, many DT electronics are also covered by the DT Systems Premium Limited Lifetime Warranty.  This warranty is the best warranty offered in the industry and is free to participating U.S. customers (a completed warranty registration card accompanied with a copy of your receipt must be returned within 30 days of original purchase).  This changes our normal one year parts and labor warranty to a limited lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects on parts and a one year warranty on labor.  Please see below for further details on the Limited Lifetime Warranty.

How the Limited Lifetime Warranty works:
• To quailify for the Warranty, you must fill out the warranty registration card which came with your system and mail it (with a copy of your sales receipt) to DT Systems within 30 days of purchase.
• Your unit must be sent to DT Systems for all warranty issues.  DT Systems has the right to determine what is and is not a warranty issue.
• There is no charge for parts or labor for the first year on any of our lifetime warranty products.
• When the product’s one year labor warranty expires after the first year, there will be a normal labor charge for any repair under the lifetime warranty program should your system be in need of service.  Labor charges will vary depending on: 1) the system model and 2) the severity of the repair needed.
• When your unit is sent in for repairs, any defective part(s) that need replacement will be free during the lifetime warranty period.

What is covered:
• DT Systems Premium Lifetime Warranty covers all parts (except batteries) to be free from manufacturing defects for as long as the unit is held by the original owner.
• Return ground shipping (inside the continental United States) to the customer is covered.

What is not covered:
• Rechargeable batteries have a one year warranty from the original purchase date and are not part of our lifetime warranty.
• Lost parts or parts that malfunction due to misuse, abuse, improper maintenance, or incorrect handling are not covered.
• Damage from dogs chewing or wear and tear from excessive field use is not covered
• Parts needed for repair that are no longer available (These parts can be unavailable due to extinct technology, laws, regulation, etc).
• Our warranty does not cover the cost of shipping the unit to our repair center.  Expedited or special return shipping is not covered, but available by request for an extra shipping fee.  International shipping charges are not covered.

Non-electronic parts and accessories come with a 30 day warranty.
